Meet the Staff
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will provide professional and compassionate care for your pet. Our licensed veterinarians continue their education through courses, seminars, and conferences to stay abreast of the latest innovations in animal care.
Lisa Nadasi, D.V.M. and Her Rescue Family - Owner
When Lisa Nadasi was a little girl, she brought home stray animals in the neighborhood, volunteered at the local Audubon Center, and dreamed of becoming a vet. Her dream came true in 2003 when she earned a degree in veterinary medicine from The Ohio State University. Her experience includes work at vet clinics and an animal shelter before she purchased Oakview in 2011.
Today, Dr. Nadasi enjoys working with the Oakview Veterinary Hospital staff and patients and is still passionately involved in animal welfare and rescue initiatives. She is a member of the Ohio Veterinary Medicine Association (OVMA) and the American Veterinary Medicine Association (AVMA).
Douglas Hulme, D.V.M.
Anyone who works at one career for nearly half a century must love it. Such is the case for Douglas Hulme, our most experienced veterinarian at Oakview. Raised on a farm, Dr. Hulme has been around animals for his entire life. He has been a vet for 48 years – 41 of them at Oakview Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Hulme lives in Piqua with his wife, Susan. They have three children and nine grandchildren. He earned a doctor’s degree in veterinary medicine from The Ohio State University. His professional organization affiliations include the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), the Ohio Veterinary Medicine Association (OVMA), and the American Veterinary Medicine Association (AVMA).
Brandy Clark and Nellie - Vet Assistant and Receptionist

So it is no surprise that she has been working at Oakview Veterinary Hospital as a veterinary assistant and receptionist for 16 years. She also likes fishing, baking, and reading. Brandy lives in Piqua with her husband, Jason, her son, Gavin, their cats and Nellie, their Jack Russell Terrier mix.
Amy Cook, Kya, and Arizona - Vet Assistant
Amy Cook has been a veterinary assistant at Oakview for nearly three years and has worked in the field of animal care since 1992. She lives in Brookville with her husband, Ed. They have three daughters and a whole herd of animals including cats, dogs, chickens, horses, goats, and even a donkey. When not at work, Amy likes to read, cook, and watch her daughter play softball.
Jackie Lavey, Gus, and Tiny - Office Manager / Receptionist
Jackie Lavey is our office manager. She attributes her 19-year career at Oakview to the “fantastic clients and staff” she gets to work with each day.
